Studio Policies and Expectations

 

Lessons Fees

Weekly lessons are offered in half hour, 45 minute, or hour time slots. Quotes are available upon request. Email johnstumpffmusicstudio@gmail.com or call 319-560-2860.

I expect students to pay for a month of lessons at the first lesson of the month. This payment can be made by check or cash. Lessons can also be paid with a credit card via the phone app Venmo.

Lesson Times

Lessons will begin at the time of the appointment. If you are late, the time will not be made up. If I begin the lesson late, I will make up the time.

Cancellation Policy

24 hour notice is required to cancel a lesson or the student will be charged for the lesson

 

Illness Policy

Students should cancel only if they are in the extreme part of the illness. Sore throats, some congestion and the general fatigue of illness are not good reasons for canceling a lesson.

Practicing

I expect that each student will practice on a daily basis. Students with disciplined and organized regular practice sessions make the most progress
